Classification of microswitches

1, small micro switch

The general size of the small micro switch is 27.8mm long, 10.3mm wide, 15.9mm high. In terms of parameters, there are different changes such as high capacity and low load.

2, ultra-small micro switch

The general size of the ultra-small micro switch is 19.8mm long, 6.4mm wide, 10.2mm high, and the function has different performance of high precision and high life.

3, super small micro switch

The general size of the super small micro switch is 12.8mm long, 5.8mm wide, 6.5mm high, and there is a super thin design in this type.

The function or use of a microswitch

Micro switch is small, but in our daily life to play an irreplaceable role, in the need for frequent switch circuit equipment to achieve automatic control and safety protection. At present, it has been widely used in electronic equipment, instrumentation, mining, power systems, household electrical equipment, as well as aerospace, aviation, missiles, tanks and other military fields. In addition, they can also be used in a computer mouse, car mouse, automobile electronic products, communications equipment, military products, as well as the test instrument, gas water heater, gas burner, small home appliance, microwave oven, electric rice cooker, floating ball supporting equipment, medical equipment, building automation, electric tools and general electric and radio equipment, 24 hours timer.

Microswitch operation method

The operation method of the microswitch affects the performance of the switch. Note the following when doing this (see right image).

· Use a smooth shape switch operator (CAM, block, etc.). The drive rod of the switch is recovered quickly. When it is impacted, it may lead to the damage of the drive rod and the shortening of its life.

· Do not apply partial load on the driving rod during operation. Otherwise, local friction may lead to the damage of the driving rod and the shortening of its life.

· Please operate according to the action direction of the driving rod. In the needle button type, press the button vertically.

· The ball swing rod and R-shaped swing rod should be operated from the direction shown below.

· The Angle θ of the ball swing rod and other cams should be set within the range of 30 ~ 45°. If the Angle is too large, it will cause abnormal transverse stress on the swing rod.

· If the drive rod is processed, excess external force will be applied to the internal mechanism of the switch, resulting in the change of its characteristics and the switch failure.

· When the external swing rod is used as the operating body, in order to determine the external load according to the operating load of the switch, please confirm the material and plate thickness.

Notes for use of micro switch

 

1) When fixing the main body of the switch, please use the M2 small screw on the smooth surface to fix with a torque below 0.098n ·m. In addition, to prevent loosening of the screws, it is recommended to use a washer at the same time.

2) Please note that in the free state, the action body should not directly exert force on the button or the actuator, but should exert force on the button in the vertical direction when in use.

3) The action setting after the action should take more than 70 [%] of O.T. value as the standard. In the case of switch, do not set the action body in the position of the action limit, so as to avoid the opening and closing, over stroke accompanied by the impact of shortening the life.
