Buttons can be classified according to the mode of operation, protection mode, common button categories and characteristics:
Open type: suitable for mounting on the panel fixed on the switch board, control cabinet or console. The code name is K.
Protective type: With a protective housing, can prevent the internal button parts from mechanical damage or human touch live parts, code H.
Waterproof type: with a sealed housing to prevent rainwater intrusion. Code name S.
Anti-corrosion type: can prevent the chemical corrosive gas intrusion. Code name F.
Explosion-proof: can be used in places containing explosive gases and dust without causing explosion, such as coal mines and other places. Code name B.
Knob type: Rotate the contact with the hand handle, there are two positions on and off, generally panel mounted. Code name X.
Key type: Rotate the operation by inserting the key, which can prevent misoperation or special operation. The code name is Y.
Emergency type: there is a large red mushroom knob head protruding on the outside,To cut off the power supply in case of emergency. Code-named J or M.
Self-sustaining button: The button is equipped with a self-supporting electromagnetic mechanism, mainly used in power plants, substations or test equipment, operators to communicate signals and issue instructions, generally for panel operation. Code name Z.
Button with light: The button is equipped with a signal lamp, which is used as singnal indiication, and is mostly used on the panel of control, cabinet and the console. Code name D.
Combined type : Multiple button combinations. Code name E.
Interlocking type : multiple contacts interlock with each other. Code name C.
