Why Cable Pull Safety Switches Are Essential
A conveyor line is usually longer than a person can walk in the time it takes a problem to travel along it. A stop button at the head end does not help someone standing halfway down the line. A pull cord switch runs the stop function along the whole length of the run: pull the rope at any point, and the contacts switch. On a long line, that is an efficient way to put a stop within reach of every workstation.

The -R model rope pull switches feature a blue reset button on the side of the housing. Once the rope has been pulled, the switch stays in the operated position until someone presses that button, which is what makes it a resettable cable pull safety switch. The models without -R reset on their own and have no reset button on the body.

Construction
This rope pull safety switch features a zinc alloy base and industrial-grade flame-retardant housing. It adopts silver contacts and fully enclosed sealing design, offering reliable protection against water, oil and dust for stable operation in dusty or damp environments.
