Product Overview
A restart that has to be signed off needs a switch that will not do it by itself. This pull cord safety switch latches when the rope is pulled: the NC contact opens, the drive stops, and both contacts stay where they are after the rope is released. Closing the circuit again takes a person at the unit and a press of the blue reset button on the housing. Where the restart is part of a written procedure rather than an accident of the rope, that is the behaviour a safety rope switch has to have.
