SSR-80A Solid State Relay Usage Precautions

1. Derating: For the 80A model, it is recommended to operate at 60%-70% of the rated current to avoid prolonged full-load operation and extend service life.

2. Heatsink Required: A dedicated heatsink must be installed vertically. Apply thermal grease to the contact surfaces to ensure good heat dissipation and prevent overheating damage.

3. Inductive/Capacitive Load Protection: When controlling loads such as motors and heating elements, an RC snubber circuit or varistor must be connected in parallel at the load terminal to suppress surge impacts.

4. Proper Wiring: Strictly distinguish between input and output terminals; reverse connection is strictly prohibited. Terminals must be tightened to prevent overheating and damage to the device due to loose connections.

5. Control Signal Requirements: The control terminal must provide a stable 3V~32V DC signal to avoid malfunctions caused by excessive voltage or signal jitter.

6. Operating Environment Restrictions: Avoid use in humid, corrosive gas, strong electromagnetic interference, or high-temperature (-30℃~+80℃) environments.
7. Safety precautions for live operation: Disassembly or repair is strictly prohibited while the circuit is energized. If the casing is deformed or the terminals are burned, the power must be cut off immediately and the device replaced.
