NM-7121 (also available as TZ-7121 and AZ-7121) is an electrical control enclosed limit micro switch featuring IP67 waterproof protection. As a specialized type of micro switch, it is engineered to perform reliably in environments where water contact or damp conditions are common.
The IP67 ingress protection rating ensures the switch meets international standards, enabling it to withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes without sustaining damage. This makes it ideal for industrial applications-such as automated production lines and assembly lines-as well as outdoor or harsh environments where standard switches would fail to perform.
Also known as a limit switch, it operates when external mechanical force acts on the actuating reed via transmission components, including push pins, buttons, levers, and rollers. When the force applied to the driving element is removed, the actuating spring generates a reverse acting force; once the reverse travel of the driving element reaches the spring's critical point, the reverse action is completed instantaneously.
