The 240V double foot switch is a switch that controls the circuit by stepping or stepping on the foot, and is used in the control circuit that cannot be touched by the hands to achieve the purpose of operation instead of the hands.

The basic composition and function of foot switch:

The inner structure of the 240V double foot switch is a group of normally open and normally closed, in the 240V circuit, to control the three-phase motor, it is necessary to use an AC contactor, and the normally open two ends of the double foot switch are string in the AC contactor coil control loop. If the control is 240V two-phase electrical appliance, if the rated current of the electrical appliance is less than the rated current of the foot switch contact, the foot switch can be directly connected to the 240V two-phase electrical circuit, if the rated current of the electrical appliance is too more than the rated current of the double foot switch contact, AC contactor must be used.

Wiring steps of foot switch:

The 240V double foot switch has three lines, one control line is normally open, one control line is normally closed, the other is normally open and normally closed common line, we only use one control line is normally open, the other is normally open and normally closed common line.

Matters need attention:

Choose the appropriate AC contactor If the electrical rated current is too large, an AC contactor must be used.

Correctly connect the power supply: the power supply live wire is connected to the common terminal of the double foot switch, and then the live wire is drawn out from the normally open terminal and connected to the live wire terminal of the motor.
