Product Overview

Panel switches take a beating. The DU-3011D-F-1 metal push button switch is made for that kind of work.
It is a panel-mount metal push button with a brass body and nickel plating, a flat round head, and a 1NO + 1NC contact block on six quick-connect blade terminals. This LED metal push button features a printed HOLD legend on the white cap; as an illuminated push button, its built-in LED lights the button face with your choice of five colors.
It drops into a single panel hole and locks down with the hex nut. A silicone seal works with the IP65 rating, so dust stays out and water spray off a hose is not a problem. The housing also carries an IK10 impact rating and a V0 flame-retardant rating.
Pick the action type that matches your panel: momentary when the signal should only last as long as you hold the button, or maintained when you need the state to stay put.

Momentary or Latching - Which One Do You Need?
Momentary (auto-reset): the contacts change state while the button is held down and go back the moment you release it. This metal push button switch works well for jog, test, start and reset signals.
Latching (self-locking): press once and the contacts stay in the new state. Press again and they go back. This panel mount push button suits power on/off and any function that has to stay set.
Both versions use the same housing and the same 1NO + 1NC contact block, so your panel cut-out does not change.
